On October 31, I took part in a celebration honoring the memory of Agnes Buen Garnås, the renowned and influential traditional Norwegian singer.
Several leading kvedarar (traditional Norwegian folk singers), Hardanger fiddlers, and dancers participated in the event.
It was a wonderful occasion initiated by Agnes’ daughter Ingvill Marit, granddaughter Magnhild, and son Per Anders.
I contributed by performing a duo piece together with Anders Erik Røyne.
