Rárier for en kjole – Changing Identities

R’arier for en kjole – changing identities is a non-verbal mini-opera. It is performed a capella and is specially written for the voice of Ruth Wilhelmine Meyer, a girls choir, and a textile creation by Marit Eken Kalager. The work was in development from 2008 to 2010, and the children were involved in the process from day one.

We performed the non-verbal mini-opera in Håkonshallen, which was built in the middle ages, at the Bergen International Festival on 1st June 2011. The choir was from the Culture school of Bergen.
