In June 2018 we had the honour of presenting the first version of HEXE- in Theatre X in Tokyo.
A scenic performance with the multi vocalists Øystein Elle and Ruth Wilhelmine Meyer and the Butoh dancers Neiro+Mutsumi.
HEXE is built upon the story of Johanne Pedersdatter who was burned as a witch in Stavanger 1622.
Her inner visions, thoughts and dreams were performed in an interaction of vocal sounds and movements.
HEXE was made of a creative team of the participants, with Janne Hoem as stage director and with a stage curtain made of the textile artist Inger Johanne Rasmussen.
The project will continue and have its premiere 2019.
